We are looking for a local sales expert who wants to further their career and have the earning potential of an established, active account list.
The Opportunity
Unlike many sales roles that require starting from scratch, you will hit the ground running with an active account list of existing clients. Your mission is twofold: nurture and grow these established relationships while aggressively hunting for new local direct business.
Key Responsibilities
Local Direct Growth: Identify, prospect, and close new local business opportunities within the Roanoke Rapids market.
Account Management: Manage and grow an established list of active clients, ensuring their long-term success and ROI.
Integrated Marketing Solutions: Craft and present comprehensive advertising campaigns that blend the massive reach of Radio with cutting-edge Digital Marketing.
Consultative Selling: Act as a marketing consultant for local business owners, helping them solve business challenges through creative advertising strategies.
Community Representation: Serve as a visible brand ambassador for Byrne Media at local events.
What We Are Looking For
The “Local Seller” Heart: You love small businesses and understand the unique needs of a rural market.
Digital Proficiency: You are comfortable discussing and selling digital marketing services alongside traditional airtime.
Proven Track Record: You have experience in media sales (Radio, TV, or Print) or high-level local B2B sales.
Self-Starter: You are disciplined, organized, and motivated by a high-earning potential tied to performance.
Communication: Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to build trust quickly with business owners.
