As an Account Executive, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth while helping local businesses thrive. You’ll be responsible for developing, selling, and managing cross-platform advertising campaigns across radio, digital, and event sponsorships. This is a client-facing role where relationship building, creativity, and strategic thinking are just as important as sales expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistently identify and develop new business opportunities to generate revenue across radio, digital media, and event sponsorships.
  • Re-engage inactive or former clients to create new streams of revenue.
  • Manage, renew, and renegotiate advertising agreements with existing clients to maximize value.
  • Exceed sales quotas and consistently achieve performance goals.
  • Create and present compelling, customized advertising proposals and campaign strategies.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop fresh advertising ideas and write engaging creative copy.
  • Coordinate, organize, and execute promotional campaigns and sponsorship activations.
  • Ensure all advertising deadlines, production requirements, and campaign deliverables are met.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by providing insights and recommendations on media strategy.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through regular in-person meetings and consistent communication.
  • Represent the company at community events, client functions, and station promotions to strengthen our presence and relationships.
  • Assist with commercial production and promotional activities as needed.

Qualifications (including but not limited to):

  • Proven success in outside sales, preferably in media or digital.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with the ability to prospect, close deals, and manage client accounts independently.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing solutions.
  • Passion for local media and community engagement.
