Substantive Temporary Placement Situation
A partner at a prominent Chicago-based law firm asked Legalpeople for assistance with overflow asbestos litigation work. The firm needed a temporary attorney to help with substantive writing, depositions, court appearances, and trial preparation, much of which required out-of-state travel.
Within two days, Legalpeople presented the resume of a lawyer who graduated from a top ten law school and who had ten years of asbestos litigation experience. After interviewing at the firm, Legalpeople’s candidate was hired with the expectation that he would be at the firm for several months.
Because the candidate did outstanding work, and because the firm brought in several new asbestos clients, our client eventually hired the Legalpeople attorney as an of counsel attorney at the firm.
