A national multimedia company is rapidly expanding one of their most popular and successful brands. The company is currently seeking an in-house Affiliate Relations Manager to join our team. You will be our key person interacting with our radio affiliates and building lasting relationships.  The ARM will report directly to the VP of Marketing & Affiliate Relations and will support with the implementation of new and existing markets & the daily management of affiliate relationships.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify opportunities to increase our affiliate list—sell programs to new affiliate stations
  • Assist with implementation of new and existing markets
  • Send weekly Affidavits
  • Perform an audit on all affiliates quarterly
  • Prepare and send marketing materials to prospective affiliates
  • Conduct phone calls to our affiliates to ensure a lasting relationship
  • Conduct cold calls to solicit potential new affiliates
  • Utilize Act 1, our Affiliate software to pull reports and update existing affiliate information
  • Receive and respond to inbound calls and email from Affiliates
  • Responsible for setting up appointments, making travel arrangements for speaking engagements
  • Develop reports and evaluation metrics for business practices and Affiliate related projects.
  • Prepare a monthly email newsletter to update affiliates
  • Work with Marketing to promote our affiliates in email newsletters, social media and on the radio

SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS

  • Affiliate or media content sales experience
  • Professional customer service skills, phone etiquette: polite, professional, friendly, patient, upbeat
  • Must be open to learning and implementing quickly, ability to work on a tight deadline
  • Able to turn a “no” into a “yes”
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to ask prying questions and diffuse tense situations
  • Excellent organizational skills, strong time management skills
  • Self-motivated, confident and comfortable on the phone
  • Energetic, friendly and upbeat personality
  • Ability to think outside the box and show initiative
  • Must be willing to "Do" not "Delegate", have a can-do attitude

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant affiliate experience
  • Minimum 2 years affiliate management experience
  • Act 1 software knowledge preferred but not required (will train)
