A national media group is expanding their radio sales force in the Midwest.  If you have B2B relationships, and a successful sales track record, please read on.  We offer products and services that set our stations apart from the competition. Our team has the ability to solve problems and utilize all assets available to create solutions for clients and we want to grow.  New team members need to have a desire to win, ability to show proven sales success and the type of personality that generates good will inside and outside of the office.

This position will report directly to the General Manager.  This market/region offers a great cost of living and affordable housing.  Close to major markets and amenities that come with living in a desirable part of the country.  Benefits package is strong and one of the best available.

Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

    • Revenue achievement monthly, quarterly and annually
    • Prospect and develop new customer partnerships
    • Focus on customer service, work with clients to determine needs and create solutions to achieve them
    • Completes other duties as assigned or requested

Job Qualifications (including but not limited to)

    • 4-year college degree, BA/BS or equivalent is a plus but not necessary based on individual career past success
    • 2 years of progressive direct sales experience
    • Demonstrated track record of business-to-business sales experience, media experience preferred
    • Strong organizational / time management skills, careful attention to detail
    • Computer literate with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
    • Skilled in working with clients to develop and cultivate client relationships in order to grow accounts
    • Sales achievement with experience in consultative or “needs” based selling techniques
    • Have a collaborative and professional style with the objective of building strong relationships with diverse customer groups and vendors
    • Be a self-starter with a diligent work ethic and demonstrated flexibility
