LOCAL Radio Account Executive

A major broadcaster and national multi-media company is seeking LOCAL advertising sales professionals for their successful, dominant radio cluster located in the Midwest US.  This PPM large market is a family-friendly, growing area of the country that is very clean, affordable with easy commute times with strong sports ties.

We are looking for successful LOCAL media sellers with 3-5 years experience.  You must have a successful track record with medium or large market exposure. If you are a local AE in Radio, TV, Cable, Digital, or Print.....we want to talk with you!  This position requires drive, desire to achieve and beat revenue goals, an entrepreneurial spirit and the creativity to maximize multi-platform.  This position reports to the DOS.

Responsibilities & Requirements for the Position:  (including but not limited to)

  • Meet and exceed budget requirements, creating revenue opportunities for existing and new clients
  • Be a self-starter, able to manage and be held accountable for duties and responsibilities
  • Utilize emotional intelligence to contribute to a productive work environment focused on success and solutions
  • Develop, present and execute integrated marketing campaigns across platforms to accomplish client return on investment
  • Analyze research and present data
  • Possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills, both internally and externally
  • Have a creative nature, be fearless and an outstanding problem solver, providing thoughtful solutions that satisfy both company and client goals
  • Marketing and branding knowledge
  • Ability to manage and successfully complete all aspects of internal reporting and documentation needed for the successful execution of programs
  • Attendance at all required sales and training meetings
  • Stay current on all ratings and research, competitive market information and necessary rules and regulations of promotions and events
  • Associate’s degree (A. A.) preferred or two to three years’ experience in business-to-business sales or accomplished in marketing and sales techniques, media sales, event sales or digital technology and related sales.
