The Digital Sales Manager is responsible for generating and growing digital marketing revenue.  The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in exceeding digital sales revenue goals.   The DSM will oversee all controllable revenue of a company that continues to grow in audience, products and revenue and will be the market’s expert on digital services.  Must be able to work both independently and in conjunction with our established sales team, to achieve budgeted revenue goals in the digital marketing services area. The DSM will achieve these responsibilities by professionally and effectively selling our suite of digital marketing services/products with the objective of advancing client objectives.  Being creative while taking care of business should be second nature to you. This position will report directly to the General Manager.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Identify innovative ways to meet the marketing needs of new and existing business
  • Act as the primary liaison with regional business partners for fulfilling orders
  • Manage, engage and motivate account executives on digital advertising products
  • Research and create ways to optimize ads across the platform
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute digital packages and solutions
  • Measure, grow and exceed digital sales and market share goals
  • Assist in the preparation, creation and delivery of compelling presentations to clients
  • Analyze and provide necessary sales reports, market analysis and identify growth opportunities
  • Accountable for our digital revenue performance
  • Be an effective educator and ambassador both internally and externally on the benefits of digital marketing


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of digital marketing or media sales preferred
  • Sales management experience required
  • Some knowledge of SEO/SEM, mobile, social media, reputation management, ad optimization and targeted ads (geo-fenced, behavioral).  Training will be provided
  • Effective communication and client presentation skills
  • Ability to interact with high-level decision makers
  • Ability to execute in an organization through collaboration and a consultative process
  • Excellent follow-up, strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with ad serving (DoubleClick preferred), ad management, analytics and content management systems
