A privately owned and operated radio group on the West Coast, which includes 5 radio stations (2 Spanish Language) is looking to add to their sales team.  Do you have the gift of gab and love to schmooze? This could be the opportunity for you.  They are looking for a senior account executive as well as junior account executives. They have an established client list to give and offer unlimited earning potential with a chance to make Presidents Club.  This company is unique with its mix of stations and cross-cultural opportunities.  Not to mention their office space is built out of train cars from Colorado!   

This radio group is the only one that has its own stage and event space on site.  They put on 8 backyard concerts every year, which creates opportunities for creative minds.  The culture is work hard, play hard where creativity is encouraged and supported.

This exciting opportunity is ideal for motivated account executives, B2B sellers or perhaps someone with a previous media background that wants to get back “in the game.”  Position includes selling their radio platforms as well as digital to better serve the region. Included is a base salary, generous commission structure, medical benefits, 401k, and computer.  Flex time or remote work is something they are open to as well.

To sweeten the deal, there are various investments and memberships to aid in growth potential including a subscription to RAB and various memberships to Chambers.

Requirements of the position:

    • Experience selling radio or media (1+ year experience)
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Ability to travel within market
    • A strong understanding of cold calling, servicing, and building client relationships
    • A creative thinker who can develop multi-platform marketing programs for clients
    • Maintain and improve existing client list and generate new business
    • Able to meet daily/monthly goals
    • Attend sales meetings, training sessions and client remotes. 
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • Must be detail oriented and have a positive attitude
