QUESTIONS FOR THE INTERVIEW (Not about salary or vacation in first meeting!!!)

1. Why are they hiring? Are they adding or do they have high turnover? If turnover, why – are people getting promoted or leaving on their own?
2. Is there a plan for growth for both the company and the position?
3. Why did the person interviewing you join the company? How long have they been there and what do they like or dislike?
4. What is the process for hiring?  Who all is involved in the decision?
5. Is there a job open? If so, how long has it been open?
6. What are the expectations of the job?
7. How many are in the department where I would work?
8. Who would I report to?
9. What skills are needed to succeed in this position?
10. What is the ramp up/training for this position?
11. How will this position be reviewed?  Expectations?
12.  What about my qualifications do you think would be a benefit in this position?
13. What training is involved?
