RESEARCHING THE COMPANY

Never present yourself for a job until you have done your homework:

1. How long has the company been around?
2. Is the company financially stable? For how long?
3. Who owns the company?
4. What is the set up of the company (public, private, etc.)
5. What is their mission statement? Do they adhere to it?
6. What is the company’s reputation? Are they known to train? Promote?
7. Who is their biggest competitor and how do they compare?
8. Find out who their target client is and talk to them
9. What seem to be the biggest challenges facing this company?
10. How does this company market to their target audience?
