Sample Job Profile - Digital Media Supervisor

The Digital Media Supervisor (DMS) is the central coordinator of online campaigns for a client. The DMS works in coordination with the client and the agency’s media planning, digital design/production and account management departments.

Listed below are the duties, skills and experience that may be required (but not limited to) for a Digital Media Supervisor:

Duties

  • Brainstorm with agency members to create concepts for client projects
  • Negotiate online media plans
  • Work with Director of Digital Production and Project Managers
  • Prepare and update campaign status reports
  • Stay on top of all trends in the digital arena

Skills

  • Extensive understanding of the digital advertising industry’s infrastructure systems
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Proficient using third party ad serving tool (ex. Atlas DMT) and @plan NetRatings
  • Exceptional oral, written and presenting skills
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

Experience

  • 3-4+ years in digital planning/buying
  • Supervisory experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree
