Sample Job Profile - Digital Media Supervisor
The Digital Media Supervisor (DMS) is the central coordinator of online campaigns for a client. The DMS works in coordination with the client and the agency’s media planning, digital design/production and account management departments.
Listed below are the duties, skills and experience that may be required (but not limited to) for a Digital Media Supervisor:
Duties
- Brainstorm with agency members to create concepts for client projects
- Negotiate online media plans
- Work with Director of Digital Production and Project Managers
- Prepare and update campaign status reports
- Stay on top of all trends in the digital arena
Skills
- Extensive understanding of the digital advertising industry’s infrastructure systems
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Proficient using third party ad serving tool (ex. Atlas DMT) and @plan NetRatings
- Exceptional oral, written and presenting skills
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Experience
- 3-4+ years in digital planning/buying
- Supervisory experience
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree
